Transfer Rumours - April 15
Expressandstar.com bring you all of the latest transfer talk from Wolves, West Brom, Aston Villa and Walsall.
We are not saying they are true – just that they are out there.
WOLVES
Wolves will likely show Wolverhampton-born striker Leon Clarke the door when he returns from his loan at Wigan Athletic.
The 30-year-old is at the DW Stadium until the end of the season but is unlikely to be kept on by the Latics, who are set to drop into League One.
WEST BROM
West Brom are losing their battle to line up Morocco midfielder Nordin Amrabat as a transfer target, with Malaga remaining in pole position.
The Spanish side, who first took the 28-year-old winger on loan at the start of last year, have a buy-out clause and are ready to enter talks.
All the Baggies and Premier League rivals West Ham is monitor developments going forward, with Turkish giants Galatasaray his parent club.
ASTON VILLA
Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke has revealed he will discuss his future with manager Tim Sherwood at the end of the season.
The Belgium international, 24, has two years left on his contract and has been unsettled by the club's struggles in the Premier League.
He said: "We will see. I'm just waiting to have a chat with him at the end of the season."
Villa boss Sherwood has his own targets as he builds for the future, with Chelsea striker Patrick Bamford and Ipswich Town midfielder Teddy Bishop linked.
Bamford, 21, is currently enjoying a successful loan spell with Championship side Middlesbrough, while 18-year-old Bishop is earning rave reviews at Portman Road.
WALSALL
All quiet at the Banks's Stadium today.
