WOLVES
Former Wolves trialist Max Clayton is likely to be welcomed back at League One club Crewe after his time at Molineux came to nothing.
WEST BROM
West Brom are apparently after former Celtic and Manchester City striker Georgios Samaras, with the Greece international now a free agent. They could face competition from Spanish side Malaga.
The Baggies are also showing interest in Ipswich Town right-back Elliott Hewitt, but the Championship club will want a significant fee for the 20-year-old.
ASTON VILLA
Aston Villa have allowed left-back Joe Bennett, 24, to join Sami Hyypia's Championship side Brighton on a season-long loan deal.
WALSALL
Midfielder Nicky Featherstone, who was released from Walsall in the summer, has agreed a week-to-week contract with Scunthorpe United after a successful trial period.
