Stafford Rangers cup tie postponed

Stafford Rangers' Staffordshire Senior Cup quarter-final against Port Vale tonight has been postponed because of a waterlogged pitch.

Published Feb 18, 2014

Graham Heathcote's side were due to meet a young Vale team for a place in the last four.

But a tweet from the Marston Road club said: "Following a pitch inspection by Staffs FA this morning, the SSC quarter final match versus Port Vale FC has been called OFF."
