Kevin Doyle could be set for a summer return to Reading.
Mick McCarthy has refused to rule out a shock return to Wolves in a bid to keep the side in the Premier League. "I would never say never, that is all I can say" he said. "Stranger things have happened. Carlos Tevez played for Manchester City on Saturday. But I think that is a challenge for somebody else, I have done my time. I would never say never and someday it may happen but I don't think that is going to be the case now and I am looking forward to a fresh challenge as well."

Aston Villa are reportedly weighing up a £7million move for Heerenveen striker Bas Dost.
Villa manager Alex Mcleish has dismised reports linking Stephen Ireland with a move to the New York Red Bulls.
