ASTON VILLA

Villa are pondering a move for Newcastle midfielder Danny Guthrie following the season-ending injury to Jermaine Jenas, although that now looks a little unlikely given that he's now out for six weeks with a hamstring injury.

WEST BROM

The Baggies are still apparently interested in a January move for Liam Ridgewell. They will face competition from QPR, Stoke and Newcastle.

Albion are also said to be lining up a move for Nottingham Forest's Luke Chambers. Wigan are also said to be interested in the player.

WOLVES

Arsene Wenger will assess the rehabilition of Jack Wilshere and Abou Diaby before making any decision on whether Emmanuel Frimpong or Francis Coquelin will be allowed out on loan to Wolves.

BIRMINGHAM

Norwich and Sunderland are both reported to be interested in Blues striker Nikola Zigic.
