The Baggies will face a battle with Bolton for the services of Tim Ream. The New York Red Bulls defender will arrive for a week at The Hawthorns from Dec 3-10th before heading to the Reebok Stadium for a week with Owen Coyle's side.

Paul Downing, who is on loan at Barnet, has spoken of how much he is enjoying his spell at the club.

ASTON VILLA

Habib Beye has begged Doncaster Rovers to end his Aston Villa nightmare. Defender Beye wants to stay at the Championship club for the rest of the season after being signed on loan by boss Dean Saunders.

BLUES

Newcastle and Blackburn are battling it out to sign Birmingham defender Liam Ridgewell in the January transfer window.

WALSALL

Loanee Mark Wilson has returned to Doncaster having been recalled by the South Yorkshire club.
