Cannock's Paul 'Relentless' Taylor has pulled out of the Ultimate Fighting Championship event at Birmingham's LG Arena after suffering minor injuries in a car crash.
Taylor was due to compete at UFC 138 on Saturday night against Anthony Njokuani, but has been ruled out with whiplash from the accident.
Njokuani has also been scrubbed from the line-up, as there is insufficent time to find a replacement for the three-time world kickboxing champion.
The West Midlands will now be represented at UFC 138 by Birmingham's Vaughan Lee, who debuts at bantamweight against Chris Cariaso.
Lee, trains at the Ultimate Training Centre in Erdington, has a 11-6-1 record in Mixed Martial Arts, which includes first round stoppages in all three of his fights this year.
