Albion could have pulled off a great win of their own and done the double over Arsenal, but the Baggies' let a two-goal lead slide and have to settle for a draw at the Hawthorns.

Birmingham also blew their chance to climb out of the relegation places after Wigan came from behind and scored a stoppage-time winner at the DW Stadium, breathing life into the bottom club's own bid for survival.

And what a comeback for Walsall - two goals down to Hartlepool, it suddenly started raining goals for the Saddlers who gave manager Dean Smith the ultimate 40th birthday present with a 5-2 win.
