16:55: It's all over for our teams in the region and the win Albion have been waiting six games for has finally come along, however hard work it was, after the Baggies beat Blackpool by the odd goal in five.

Wolves pushed Manchester City all the way but utltimately left Eastlands beaten in a game that had everything - the visitors leading, then the home side going 4-1 up before Mick McCarthy's men pulled it back to 4-3 late on.

Walsall also had four put past them but the Saddlers wouldn't give up the fight against play-off chasers Huddersfield, leading and then pulling level at the Banks's Stadium before succumbing to two more goals.

Tomorrow at noon it's the Second City showdown between derby rivals Villa and Birmingham, with St Andrew's the scene.

16:45: GOAL! It's definitely a defeat for Walsall now after they concede a goal in the last minute at the Banks's Stadium, Jordan Rhodes with the goal that has Huddersfield 4-2 ahead.

Crystal Palace look like relegation fodder in the Championship after being on the recieving end of a walloping from the Swans, while Celtic comprehensively beat Hibernian to go five points clear at the top of the Scottish Premier League.

14:30: The focus comes back on the Premier League for our top flight teams in the region and two of them will go head-to-head at St Andrew's tomorrow, where Birmingham host Villa in the Second City derby.

Wolves face another one of the Premier League big boys this afternoon and it's a team they have already beaten once this season, but this time it's at Eastlands with Manchester City looking for revenge.

Albion can't buy a win at the moment and will try again at the Hawthorns today, as the Baggies welcome Blackpool absolutely desperate to change their fortunes.

Walsall continue to adapt to life under caretaker manager Dean Smith, who is unbeaten with two draws since taking temporary charge, with the visit of play-off chasers Huddersfield in League One.
