Darren Byfield today insisted he will conquer his Walsall goal woes.
The Saddlers skipper has scored just three times in his last 25 games and is yet to net in four outings this season.
He missed several chances in the 1-0 defeat to Colchester last weekend but is confident in his ability and isn't concerned about his drought.
"I've been around long enough to not let it bother me. You learn from it as well," said the 33-year-old.
"If we get three points in the games I'll be happy.
"I feel sharp and strong and believe I'm going to create something or score. I don't let it bother me as much now because when I'm getting chances I know I'm going to put one away."
And the skipper backed his team-mates to recover from their slow start to the season.
He said: "There are some really weird results going on and it's about consistency more than anything else.
"That's what we're aiming for and working on in training every day. The team spirit here is brilliant and we're trying to get it right in training."
