Albion are through after two late goals saw off League One Huddersfield at the Galpharm Stadium, while Villa were comfortable winners in the end against Blackburn.

Walsall's League One match against Charlton at the Banks's Stadium was called off due to a frozen pitch, while Wolves will bid for FA Cup glory with a tricky trip to League One Tranmere tomorrow night.

So it's down to Albion, Villa and Birmingham to book their places in the hat for the next phase come 3pm, with Wolves up at League One Tranmere come 6:15pm tomorrow night.

It's a banana skin for Albion as they go to League One Huddersfield, while Villa hardly have it any easier in the first of three all-Premier League cup ties against Blackburn.

Birmingham face a trip to Championship side Nottingham Forest, with Blues in sterling form.
