Smith ready to answer the Walsall call
Walsall defender Manny Smith has insisted he is ready to answer the Saddlers' call to arms and become the main man.

The defender has been in exceptional form this season just a year after questions remained about his League One future.
After last week's retirement of Stephen Roberts and Clayton McDonald's groin injury, the Saddlers have just two fit centre-backs and Smith is ready to plug the gap.
He said: "I used to come in because of injuries but now I want to be the main one. I want to stand up and be counted for and be the first one on the teamsheet.
"I'm beginning to be more of a leader. I have proved it after playing against a lot of big teams. I've gained more confidence.
"If you have more confidence and don't go out there scared then it shows in your performances.
"I've been playing more games and I'm used to giving 100 per cent."
The 20-year-old believes there is no secret to his fine form this season, as he sticks to the basics and just listens to manager Chris Hutchings' advice.
He said: "I just try to do what I can do and do it well. The manager tells me to defend the way I know and anything else is a bonus."
