A meeting of the campaign's board of directors at Wembley today was to consider bringing in a number of big hitters to put the bid back on track, after heavy criticisms by FIFA powerbroker Jack Warner last week.

The 2018 team believe there is a the need to appoint recognised football names who will restore credibility to the England bid around the globe.

The three football people at the top of the 2018 wish list are Brady, anti-racism campaigner and former Villa defender Paul Elliott along with former Arsenal vice-chairman and FA board member David Dein.

All three would help address the current failings of the England bid that Warner pinpointed, especially the need for a more football orientated look about the team.

Brady is currently filming The Apprentice with Sir Alan Sugar in her new role as Margaret Mountford's successor, after leaving her Blues job.
