Walsall boss calls for concentration

Walsall manager Chris Hutchings has called for complete concentration to ensure the Saddlers don't suffer late heartbreak again.

The team head to MK Dons in League One tomorrow having dropped seven points in the final 10 minutes of games this season.

Hutchings said: "We always say it's not just 90 minutes, it's 95 minutes. It's the sign of consistency which normally decides whether you are a decent team or not.

"But if we look back to when we were down to 10 men against Southend, we scored in the 90th minute. We scored in the 87th minute against Huddersfield, so it's swings and roundabouts."

The Saddlers have lost just once in seven league games but have drawn four and Hutchings knows if they are to climb the table then they must start winning.

He said: "We've drawn a few and we're just trying to turn those draws into wins.

"That's why there are 10 or 12 clubs very similar to ourselves, who are looking for back-to-back wins to try to get up an extra three or four places."
