Ince has learned lesson - Hutchings

Walsall manager Chris Hutchings believes Milton Keynes Dons boss Paul Ince has learnt from his Premier League mistakes ahead of the Saddlers visit.

The rivals have both suffered top flight disappointment at north west clubs in the last two years and have dropped down to League One to prove themselves.

Saddlers chief Hutchings was sacked by Wigan after 13 games in November 2007 and moved to the Banks's Stadium in January after a spell at Derby.

Former Wolves midfielder Ince was dismissed by Blackburn following 11 defeats in 21 games which left them bottom of the table last December.

Now the pair meet at Stadium MK tomorrow and Hutchings can sympathise with Ince, but reckons his opposite number is stronger for his Ewood Park experience.

He said: "You move on, you look back at your time and think 'maybe I could have done it this way' but you learn from your mistakes and I'm sure he has.

"Paul had a period at Blackburn where things didn't work out for him. It happens in football whether you're a player, coach or manager. You are the right man for the job at the time but it's not a long time.

"He was getting his own players in and it wasn't as if they were rooted at the bottom of the table.'

Hutchings is without Richard Taundry, who is still a week away from recovering from a pulled hamstring, but Peter Till is in contention following his hamstring knock.

Jabo Ibehre, who scored the winner in a Walsall's 1-0 victory at MK Dons last season, could face his former club. Th is likely to start on the bench, but is desperate to do well against the Saddlers after scoring 11 goals in 43 appearances for them last term.

He said: "It will be good to see everyone and I'm hoping the Walsall fans will be OK with me. I had a great relationship with them last season and I just think they appreciated the type of player I am.

"I always want to do my best for the team I'm playing for."
