Dudley boxers invade 'the Venue'
Professional boxing in Dudley will reach it's highest crescendo yet on October 9 as seven hometown boxers will feature on a eight-fight show at 'the Venue.'

Chris Male, Jamie Ball, Richard Ghent, Jason Welborn, Sam Padgett, Martin Gordon and Dean Anderson will join Birmingham's Neil Perkins on the card.
And the Brummie heavyweight is hardly a stranger to the area either, he came through the amateur ranks at the town's Priory Park ABC and has never fought outside of the Black Country.
Top of the bill is Male, who vies for the right to challenge for the Midlands featherweight title in an eliminator against Birmingham veteran Sid Razak.
Rising middleweight star Ball is also in action, fresh off second place in the Midlands Boxing Council's Newcomer of the Year award, while light-welterweight Ghent returns to the scene of his first stoppage in May.
The same can be said of middleweight Padgett, who exploded onto the scene with a knockout win that very same night.
A resurgent Gordon will also be gunning for glory on his lucky ground after ending a nine-fight run without a win, Welborn makes his 'Venue' bow while Anderson makes his pro debut.
To be there for fight night, contact the box office on 0870 320 7000 or promoter Paul 'PJ' Rowson on 07976 283 157.
