Hereford 0 Walsall 1 - Verdict
Walsall completed their pre-season preparations with a comfortable 1-0 win at Hereford on Saturday.

Stephen Roberts' first half header sealed the game for the Saddlers, who are now eyeing Saturday's League One opener at Brighton.
But Hereford striker Leon Constantine tested Ince after nine minutes, while trialist Matt Richards was inches away from connecting with Alex Nicholls' centre after 15 minutes.
There was little tempo from the Saddlers, with the visitors second best as Constantine threatened the defence.
But, despite their low key nature, Walsall took the lead after 40 minutes.
Richards saw goalkeeper Adam Bartlett palm his low 20-yarder away and from the resulting corner Richards swung the ball in, Mattis' header struck the bar and Roberts nodded in the rebound.
In the second half Parkin should have made it 2-0 after 73 minutes, but woefully scuffed his shot when through on Bartlett, while Troy Deeney lobbed over late on.
