Saddlers land new recruit
Walsall have continued their summer rebuilding by signing Peter Till following a successful trial with the Saddlers.

The 23-year-old midfielder, who has signed a one-year deal, has been training with the squad for two weeks and impressed in the pre-season games against Rotherham and Wolves
Till, who can play on either flank, came through the ranks at Birmingham City, and had loan spells at Scunthorpe United, Boston and Leyton Orient.
"He's an attacking wide-man with pace who is not afraid to take people on," said manager Chris Hutchings. "It's a great opportunity for him to come here and progress. He's a local lad and we are delighted to have him on board. He has done well over the past few weeks with us and hopefully that will continue. He is certainly a player who has the potential to excite people and I look forward to working with him."
Till had been at Grimsby Town since November 2006, becoming a regular for the Mariners, making 87 appearances before spending the second half of last season on loan at Chesterfield. He becomes the fifth signing at the Banks's Stadium after the captures of Mark Hughes, Steve Jones, Josh O'Keefe and Sam Parkin.
