Gerrard backing for replacement
Former Walsall defender Anthony Gerrard hopes to turn from former team-mate to future landlord as he backs pal Mark Hughes to shine in his place at the Banks's Stadium.

The ex-Saddler made his Cardiff debut as a half-time substitute in the 4-0 win over Chasetown on Friday.
He played with his replacement Hughes at Everton, where the pair were Goodison Park trainees together .
Gerrard is keen to help Hughes settle in – in more ways than one.
He said: "I'm trying to get him to rent my house off me, so I need to speak to him about that and see if he wants it."
The 23-year-old has backed former Northampton skipper Hughes, who signed for Chris Hutchings' side last week, to make a big impact.
Gerrard said: "He's a great lad, a great player and puts his head in where it hurts – and more often than not it will hurt him because he's that type of lad, he's very committed.
"He's a top lad and Walsall have a great signing. He's solid and the fans will take to him as well."
But now, Gerrard wants to get settled at Cardiff with girlfriend Laura and seven-month-old Harry, even if his son grows up with a Welsh accent.
The Bluebirds defender said: "First it was Black Country and now it's Welsh – so it's probably going to be Welsh with a little bit of Scouse."
