The winger has been offered a new one-year deal by the manager, who was impressed with the Frenchman's form last season.

The Saddlers chief is waiting for seven stars, including Zaaboub, to sign new deals.

Last week he set a four-week deadline for the players to finalise their plans.

But 26-year-old Zaaboub, who joined from Swindon last summer, insists he is relaxed about his situation - despite his deal expiring at the end of June.

He said: "I don't know about my future yet, my contract with Walsall has almost finished and I'm in talks with them.

"I'm not scared about finding something because Walsall have already offered me one more year, so we will talk when I get back.

"I'm away on holiday until the start of June and then I will sort my future out.

"I'm just thinking about things at the moment and I needed a holiday."

Clayton Ince, Jabo Ibehre, Chris Palmer are all mulling over offers, while Hutchings is also waiting to hear back from Manny Smith, Rene Gilmartin and Netan Sansara.
