McSheffrey joins Forest on loan

The 26-year-old recently recovered from a bout of tendonitis in his knee, which had kept him out of action since mid-September last year.

But McSheffrey made his return to first team action during last weekend's 2-1 defeat by Sheffield United at Bramall Lane, as a second half substitute.

Now Blues boss Alex McLeish believes that a loan with the Reds is the most effective way for the player to get valuable match fitness.
