Wednesfield's Steve Saville has warned Baz Carey ahead of their showdown at the Wolverhampton Civic Hall: "Expect a war."
Saville meets the Coventry slugger for the vacant Midlands Area title on November 9, a Sunday show featuring a mammoth 10 bouts and billed as 'the Crunchtime at Lunchtime.'
The popular Saville and the only British competitor to go the distance with Amir Khan collide at the top of the bill, with both fighters going all out to win the first championship of their career.
Regular fight followers at the Civic will recall their bruising battle on June 20, in Saville's comeback bout after a five-and-a-half year absence, with the hometown hero the victor on points.
'The Wednesfield Bomber' believes their title fight will top that.
He said: "Baz should expect a war, because that is what he is going to get. He is that style of fighter and I know that, so you will see one hell of a bout. Both of us bring offence to the table.
"The first fight was great and went to the distance. I feel that this result will be more decisive."
Saville has been recovering from cuts suffered from his last bout, a points win over Chris Long on September 12. As a result, most of his training so far has been physical.
With great endurance building up before a single sparring session has taken place, he feels like greased lightning - with over four weeks of training still to go.
He said: "I have upped the fitness side of my training big time. I haven't even started sparring yet, with having cuts and all. I start sparring next week. At the minute, I am very strong.
"I feel like Rocky the way I have been hitting the weights! I have got a great set of lads helping me prepare, 'Team Saville' as I call them, so my preparations could not be going better.
"It is the hardest I have ever prepared and I haven't really got started yet. I will be in the best shape of my career come the day. I truly believe I will be at my peak.
"There comes a time in your life when you just feel ready. That time is now."
