Harriers bolstered by signing four

Kidderminster manager Mark Yates has wrapped up the signings of four of the trial players at Aggborough ahead of the big kick-off against Lewes on Saturday.

Defender Martin Riley, winger Martin Brittain, midfielder Sam Foley and striker David McDermott have all penned deals with the Harriers. Foley has signed a short-term contract, with the rest committed to the club for the season.

The quartet have all spent the last month at Kiddie, impressing manager Mark Yates sufficently to earn deals.

McDermott, 20, joins having been released by Walsall at the end of last season, after 13 first-team appearances for the Saddlers.

Brittain started the year at Walsall before undertaking a trial at Major League Soccer outfit Toronto in Canada. He returned to our shores at the end of the season.

Another to arrive with real footballing pedigree, having come through the youth ranks at Newcastle United before breaking into the first team.

The 23-year-old has also featured for Ipswich, Yeovil and Walsall. He has impressed supporters in pre-season with some deadly deliveries from wide

areas and set-pieces.

Riley, 19, left his first club Wolves midway through last season, joining Shrewsbury where he was released in the summer.

Foley, 21, joins after being released by League One outfit Cheltenham Town.
