Maloney ponders Villa exit

Midfielder Shaun Maloney is considering his Villa future after failing to command a regular place in Martin O'Neill's team.

The Scotland international has been regularly linked with a return to Celtic, where he began his career and made 139 appearances, before leaving Parkhead in a £1m deal in January 2007.

The 25-year-old wide man wants to return to Scotland at some point and admits he has some decisions to make during the close season.

"I've got something to think about," Maloney said before flying to Prague for Scotland's friendly against the Czech Republic.
