Matty Hough is vowing to take the Midland middleweight title to Walsall – and has even predicted when he will take opponent Max Maxwell out.
Hough collides with Max Maxwell at the Wolverhampton Civic Hall over 10 rounds tomorrow night, warning the Birmingham man will lose.
"The title is coming to Walsall," said Hough, who weighs in today.
"I would say I'll win in the fifth or the sixth round with an overhead right because I know he stands quite upright.
"This is the biggest fight I've ever had and I've done more running and more rounds than ever – I've sparred 11, 12 rounds and if it goes the full 10, I'll cope because I tend to get stronger as fights go on."
Wolverhampton's hot light-welter prospect Dean Harrison hopes to extend his unbeaten record against Ghanaian Alex Brew in the chief support bout over eight rounds.
Harrison's light-welter stable-mates Rob Hunt from Stafford and Hagley's Scott Evans as well as Wolverhampton duo Rob Kenney and Lyndsey Scragg are also on the bill, while Birmingham heavyweight Neil Perkins makes his pro debut.
Tickets, priced £30 and £50 ringside, are still available from promoter PJ Rowson on 07976 283157. The action starts at 8pm.
