Chasetown are considering switching the next step of their FA Cup fairytale - to avoid clashing with England and Hednesford.

The Scholars are due to host Rainworth Miners Welfare for a place in the fourth qualifying round a week tomorrow.

But with England playing Estonia at Wembley in their crucial Euro 2008 qualifier and another big Cup clash in Rushall v Hednesford nearby on the same day, the club may play on Friday night in a bid to attract an 800-plus gate.

Boss Charlie Blakemore said: "We want to get as many people there as possible, and we're looking at maybe playing on the Friday."

Blakemore has warned his Cup giantkillers they have it all to do again - despite earning arguably the club's biggest ever victory on Tuesday after beating Blue Square Southern side Cambridge City in the FA Cup third qualifying round following extra-time.

The Scholars host Kidsgrove tomorrow in the FA Trophy and Blakemore said: "This is a magical time for us and we have some cracking games coming up but we haven't achieved anything yet."

Meanwhile, Blakemore is considering adding to his squad after allowing striker Paul McMahon to join Newcastle Town and missing out on AFC Telford midfielder Steve Palmer to Hednesford.
