Debut for Rushall signing

Rushall are set to hand Dave Haywood an immediate debut in tomorrow's FA Cup second qualifying round clash with Sutton Coldfield Town at Dales Lane.

Haywood joined the Pics from Halesowen on Wednesday, signing for boss Paul Holleran for the third time in the process.

Haywood previously played for him at Solihull Borough and the Yeltz, andd Holleran has no doubt the left-sided player will be a useful acquisition.

"He will bring a lot of experience and quality to the club," said Holleran.

Striker Paul Szewczyk is available for the first time this season, and Gary Birch and Niki Preston are both expected to shake off respective ankle and hamstring injuries.

Holleran knows his side are in for a tough afternoon against one of their Southern One Midlands rivals.

"This is a massive game for us because of what's at stake," he said.

"I think Sutton are the best side in our league on their day, but at home we've been very productive.

"We have looked decent and I think it will be a good cup tie."
