Albion striker Diomansy Kamara opened the scoring on 44 minutes when he ran 40 yards with the ball and tapped into an open goal after keeper Matt Murray collided with Wolves teammate Mark Little.
Four minutes after the break, Kamara found strike colleague Kevin Phillips on the edge of the box and his shot took a deflection into the corner.
Zoltan Gera completed the win on 78 minutes when he headed in a Jason Koumas corner.
By contrast, Wolves managed few efforts on goal and barely tested Albion keeper Pascal Zuberbuhler.
