First class art display by graduates at Weston Park
Some of the finest work from the country's up-and-coming artists has gone on display at Weston Park.
The Granary Art Gallery has put up a variety of creative works as part of the venue's annual Graduate Show.
Now in its third year, the event features work from some of the artistic talent emerging from the UK's universities and art colleges.
Work on display at the event, which is run every January, includes paintings, sculptures and photographic images.
The exhibition at the stately home on the Staffordshire-Shropsire border began earlier this month and runs until February 1.
Andrea Webster, marketing executive at Weston Park, said: "The top floor of our gallery area is absolutely crammed at the moment as we've received a great response from artists wanting to showcase and sell their work. There is no space left at all.
"Every graduate show we've done has been really popular as there has been a wide range of art submitted. There's been lots to look at.
"This year's event has been very similar to the others as we have had stunning pieces of original work made to a very high standard."

The Graduate Show attracts more than 100 entries per year and receives more than 1,000 visitors throughout its run.
Out of the 100-plus entries, only 50 make their way to the exhibition, where pieces are available to buy as well as admire. Juliet Brown, a curator at Weston Park, said: "The graduates have come from all over the UK, people apply from Brighton, London, Chester, all over.
"It is a great opportunity for young artists.

"We accept art in a variety of formats, we have oil on canvas, photographs, digital collage, we have a bronze and marble structure this year which is interesting.
"I think the point of the gallery is to give all sorts of people the chance to exhibit their work, so this is a perfect example of what we do.
"One of the artists who has had their work displayed at the graduate show previously has now been given his own exhibition, which will be held here later this year."
Entry to the exhibition is free. Visit weston-park.com for more information on the event.
