Firefighters battled a blaze at a derelict pub in Cannock. The fire broke out at the Golden Age in Moss Street, Chadsmoor, at around 8.30 last night. nextpage
Crews from Cannock used three pumps and an aerial ladder platform to try and control the flames.nextpage
Firefighters were still at the scene in Moss Street removing roof tiles from the derelict building. nextpage
A spokeswoman for Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "We still have two fire appliances and an aerial ladder platform at the scene."nextpage
The spokeswoman added: "The platform is now being used as a water tower." nextpage
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
