Mr Chatwin said the wintry weather had deterred the crowds yesterday, although 2,500 people still turned up, while 80 per cent of the expected 1,500 vehicles had arrived.nextpage

More than 100 American cars, 72 car club stands plus commercial vehicles such as military vehicles and buses are at the festival.nextpage

Also on display is a collection of lovingly restored period caravans dating back to the early 1920s, motorbikes and farm machinery.nextpage

The festival continues today until 5pm.
