There has been a blog representing Tettenhall 'village' for more than a decade.
www.tettenhall.co.uk was established by husband and wife team Colin and Jenny Carr in 2003 and has grown steadily in terms of website visitors and, in recent times, through the establishment of its popular Twitter feed, @Tettenhall.
At the heart of the site are its regular blogs, written by former journalist Colin, and a variety of local contributors.
Topics range ofrom reviews of local new housing developments, to features on the work of local planning activists such as the Neighbourhood Plan.
Colin said: "Nothing is off limits as long as it's local and newsworthy. We also feature local businesses as we believe in promoting shops which offer something special to the community.
"For example, we were the first to write a blog about Baked in Tettenhall – the one year old village bakery – which went on to feature in ITV's Britain's Best Bakery contest this year."
