Making the best use of the 'village green'
Anyone following our Twitter feed or Facebook page will know we have a cunning plan.
We are regularly asked one key question: "Why aren't there more events on Tettenhall's village green?"
The charity fund-raising Summer Fete is always popular and - come winter time - the switching on of the Christmas Lights attracts a huge and happy crowd.
But the answer to that question is simply this: "Because no one actually organises anything else!"
So we want to bite the bullet and get stuck in to the idea of staging bi annual events in the Spring and Autumn of 2014.
Something along the lines of a Farmers Market and/or Artisan Fair aimed at selling goods which are made or produced with loving care. A sort of Make it or Bake it fair.
Sound like a good idea? We think so too.
