Profile: Tasha Mughal
Three years ago Tasha discovered she was lactose intolerant, a difficult discovery for someone who admits they used to drink milk by the gallon!
Tasha admits that going dairy-free was not something that came naturally to her, but she is determined to see the positives in her situation: "Not having dairy ensures my skin is clear, and means that I eat less fat," she explains.
"If I hadn't become so severely lactose intolerant, I wouldn't have discovered some of the amazing restaurants in Birmingham, I would not have found vegan dessert recipes, and I wouldn't have been able to review restaurants from my unique point of view." All of which she will cover in her blog, along with tips on how she copes with a lactose-free diet.
