Profile: Councillor David Clifft
David has represented Essington, since 1999, attending many meetings, national conferences, and training events, including studying at The University of Gloucestershire, Local Policy Studies for Local Authorities.

In 2007 he obtained 'The Certificate in Local Council Administration.
He as been chairman of Essington Parish Council since 2002 and a serving magistrate in the county of Staffordshire.
David is also an elected member of South Staffordshire District Council, school governor at both St John's School in Essington and Cheslyn Hay Sport and Community High School and serves on a number of local committees.
