YouTube stars eye new restaurant spot in Birmingham after Merry Hill closure
Sides recently closed their Merry Hill store
The YouTube group Sidemen are planning to expand their fast-food brand Sides with a new restaurant in Birmingham.
The group, which includes creators like KSI, have been growing their fried chicken business across the UK and internationally, despite a previous Sides location at Merry Hill closing after failing to meet expectations
However, the company has made it clear that Birmingham is still an important target area, and they are now looking at new sites in the city as part of a wider expansion strategy.

Sides first launched in 2021 as a delivery-focused brand before moving into physical restaurants.
It has built a strong following through social media hype and its Nashville-style chicken menu, offering a range of flavours and spice levels.
The business continues to grow despite setbacks, with plans to open more locations across the UK and beyond.
Birmingham is expected to remain a key part of those future plans.
