West Midlands Police confirmed that there is no incident or emergency at the park as it is believed that officers are at the park carrying out a reconstruction of the scene in relation to the murder of Navpreet Singh.
The 26-year-old died in hospital after he was attacked by a group in the parking area off Dudley Road, Wolverhampton on October 22 last year.
Mr Singh, who was born in India but lived in Heath Town, Wolverhampton, was awaiting the arrival of his second child when the incident occurred.
He was taken to hospital by friends after the attack at around 1am but died an hour later.
An inquest at Sandwell Coroners Court, Oldbury, heard he had suffered traumatic chest, head and abdominal injuries.
Jashan Singh, aged 20, denies his murder and is due to stand trial at Wolverhampton Crown Court on September 28.
