Father who was killed in Wolverhampton disorder suffered 'traumatic' injuries, inquest heard
Navpreet Singh, aged 26, died in hospital after he was attacked by a group in a car park
An inquest into the death of an expectant father who died in a suspected murder in a car park has been opened and adjourned.
Navpreet Singh, aged 26, died in hospital after he was attacked by a group in the parking area off Dudley Road, Wolverhampton on October 22 last year.

Mr Singh, who was born in India but lived in Heath Town, Wolverhampton, and was awaiting the arrival of his second child, was taken to hospital by friends after the attack, which happened at around 1am but died an hour later.

At the opening of the inquest, at Sandwell Coroners Court, Oldbury, the court heard he had suffered traumatic chest, head and abdominal injuries.
Senior Coroner Zafar Siddique said the injuries listed after he was examined were similar to those that might be inflicted in a road traffic collision and they suggested a vehicle may have collided with him.
He adjourned the case to a date to be notified.
Jashan Singh, aged 20, denies his murder and is due to stand trial at Wolverhampton Crown Court on September 28.
