Meet 11 adorable cats from Wolverhampton, Walsall and Stourbridge who are hoping to find their forever homes in 2026

Cats Protection is on a mission to find forever homes for these deserving felines, and now, more than ever, they need kind-hearted individuals to give them the care, comfort, and affection they long for.

Whether playful kittens or gentle senior cats, each one has a unique story and a big heart waiting to meet theirs.

Meet 11 fur-babies waiting for new homes at the start of 2026 in Wolverhampton, Walsall and Stourbridge:

Milo (Wolverhampton)

Milo is a pure white, affectionate male cat who enjoys attention and cuddles once he’s settled in.

He would thrive in a quiet home where his new owner can understand his signals and help him adjust at his own pace.

Red (Wolverhampton)

Red is a friendly, approximately 9‑year‑old ginger and white cat currently looking for a loving home, who enjoys human company and shows playful, active behaviour indoors and out.

He has been cared for medically and is ready to join the right family who can offer him the space and attention he needs to thrive.

Comet (Walsall)

Comet is a shy young tabby kitten currently in Cats Protection care who would thrive in a quiet, experienced home where he can be gently encouraged to settle and build confidence.

He’s been vet‑checked, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and treated for fleas and worms, and is ready to begin his journey to a loving forever home

Poppy & Churchill (Walsall)

Churchill and Poppy are a bonded pair—a young, friendly duo who love snoozing, playing, and grooming each other—and are looking for a loving home together where they can stay side by side.

Both cats are neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and ready to begin their next chapter with the right family who can offer attention and safe outdoor access after settling in.

Kiko (Walsall)

Kiko is a social, 2‑year‑old black domestic shorthair who enjoys being around people, exploring outdoors and playing with toys.

She’s described as affectionate and would make a delightful addition to the right home, bringing lots of personality and companionship.

Layla (Walsall)

Layla is a friendly, approximately 4‑year‑old tabby who enjoys playing with toys and can be happy as an indoor cat, especially with laser pointers, balls and feather wands to keep her entertained.

She must be an indoor‑only cat due to her FIV status, and she’s looking for a loving home that can offer her the care and space she deserves.

Jasper (Halesowen)

Jasper is a young tabby and white male kitten who is neutered, fully vaccinated and ready to find a loving new home.

He loves meeting people and is looking for a family who can give him attention, playtime and a safe space to thrive.

Buddy (Stourbridge)

Buddy is a handsome 3‑year‑old grey tabby who’s still building confidence after his time as a stray, and he’d thrive in a calm, patient home where he can be helped to feel safe and loved.

He’s litter trained, neutered, flea‑ and worm‑treated, vaccinated and ready to begin his next chapter with the right family.

Heathcliff (Stourbridge)

Heathcliff is a handsome 3‑year‑old black and white male who has come into care through no fault of his own and is slowly gaining confidence with the help of his carers.

He would suit a patient, experienced home with no young children or dogs, where he can settle at his own pace and flourish with plenty of love and understanding.

Casey (Stourbridge)

Casey is an energetic and playful 8‑month‑old tabby‑and‑white male who is fully vaccinated and litter trained, ready to bring joy and companionship to his new family.

He loves toys and treats but also enjoys curling up for a cosy snooze, and would be best suited to a home with adults or older children where he can thrive.
