As well as food, visitors are also able to get their hands on a range of artisan-crafted items, from clothing and jewellery, to collectables, bags and unique homeware.
The continental food market is said to have become a 'loved tradition' in the town, with Walsall Deputy leader, Councillor Adrian Andrew, saying that it's 'great' to be welcoming it back this year.
Councillor Andrew said: "The continental street market has become a well-loved tradition in Walsall town centre, and it's great to be welcoming it back.
"Events like this help to create a lively and welcoming atmosphere, bringing people into the town centre to enjoy great food, support traders and spend time together.
"I would encourage residents and visitors alike to come along and enjoy what's on offer."
One resident, Lisa Williams, aged 32, of Walsall, said that it's one of the best events on offer in the town.
She said: "It's amazing. There is plenty of tasty food on offer; it's just nice to have something community-based going on in the town.
"I like the Mexican and Caribbean stands. But there is a lot to have. And they're independent traders, so it's worth going to."
The food market is open in the town until Saturday, February 28, and is open from 10am to 6pm daily.
