Why people don’t use buses

I read in The Express and Star that we need more people on buses. It's because of the price of a single fare of £3 and a day saver of £5.20. People could just afford £2.50 and then it went up to £2.90 and now it's £3!

Also they don't turn up on time. Our bus number 7 is two in an hour if you are lucky. The other day I came out for 9.19am and I was still at the bus shelter at 9.45am, and when it came she said I'm over 13 minutes late and have to get off the bus in Wollaston as she was told to put bus out of service and they were going back to Merry Hill and could not drop as passengers at Stourbridge Interchange. She told us the other number 7 was two minutes away but nothing came so we got on the number 8 to Stourbridge.

While waiting in Interchange recently, 12 number 9s to Birmingham came in and out while we were waiting for number 7, once every 30 minutes, if you are lucky.

They keep blaming Merry Hill roadworks and they have stopped until after Christmas but the 7 doesn't go anywhere these repairs are, it’s the other way.

We had a perfect bus 294-295 which they took off and replaced with the number 7 which has to go to Merry Hill and Dudley, and the 294-295 was a circular which only went to Stourbridge and back.

That's why people won't catch the bus or buses.
