CRIMINALS ARE HAVING A LAUGH
Reading the article of the thief who stole from Carvers of Wolverhampton, have we now got to such a stage with enforcement of our law that a decision not to arrest or investigate but to instantly warn a person who is chased and detained for a crime of theft? The staff who chased this person should be praised for they could have been injured, then to have an officer come along and basically minimise a theft. They said in the report that the thief was not known to the police. For this individual to just walk into a store and steal will not be the first time he will have done this type of crime. He did not steal the credit card machine because it looked nice, he stole it for a purpose. Had this person been arrested officers would have attended his home address and who knows others matters may have come to light, but now it seems police just take the easy way out.
When you think at one time many years ago. if anyone stole a loaf they would be deported to Australia (and I'm not saying that should happen now). Now a thief can walk into a shop and steal £200 worth of goods before police act, it's getting to the stage that crimes will be declassified and crime will be a thing of the past.
The criminals of this nation are now laughing their socks off.
