Ignorant kids? Blame the parents

A survey of 1,000 children aged from six to 10 at Heathrow revealed that 100 could not find the UK on a map, writes Peter Rhodes.

Four hundred didn't know the UK was in Europe and 50 thought Britain shared a border with the United States. More than 200 of the 1,000 kids didn't even know what an atlas was.

I wonder how many of their parents felt in the least ashamed.

If you rely on school to educate your kids, you end up with thick kids.
