If, after 60-odd years of nature documentaries, you seriously believe you are watching the same owl and the same vole throughout, you are probably the sort of person who thinks Frozen Planet (BBC1) was cheating by filming "arctic" polar-bear cubs in a Dutch zoo.
And don't get me started on Father Christmas.
