Man dies after four-vehicle crash on M6
The northbound carriageway is closed between junctions 2 and 3.

A man has died after a four-vehicle crash on the M6.
Police were called to the collision on the northbound carriageway, between Junction 2 for Coventry and Junction 3, at around 4.40am of Monday.
Warwickshire Police said the victim was aged in his 40s.
Both carriageways were closed as emergency services attended the scene and the northbound carriageway stayed shut for around eight hours while the scene was examined.
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service, who sent two ambulances and a paramedic officer to the scene, said: “On arrival, sadly it was clear that nothing could be done to save the man and he was confirmed dead at the scene.
“A man from a light goods vehicle was assessed but was discharged. A number of other motorists at the scene were uninjured.”
Motorists stuck behind the crash were allowed to turn around to continue their journeys before the road was reopened at around 1pm.
Superintendent Emma Bastone, from West Mercia Police, said: "We know this is likely to cause significant disruption to motorists this morning and I would like to thank them for their patience and say we are doing all we can to re-open the road as soon as we can.
"This was a serious collision in which sadly a man has died and our thoughts are with his family at this time.
"We do have diversions in place however there will be delays and we would therefore ask motorists if they can to find an alternative route."
Meanwhile northbound traffic on the M6 was halted for around an hour from 7am after a car overturned between junctions 4 and 4a.
Police, paramedics and firefighters were also sent to that crash, which has led to long delays near Birmingham Airport
There was also no access to Stafford Services for northbound drivers, between junctions 14 and 15, for 12 hours after a HGV overturned.
Access to the services was closed at 3am and reopened once barrier repairs were completed at around 3pm.
