Trains cancelled between Wolverhampton and Walsall as fallen tree blocks railway at Penkridge
A tree has blocked a raiway, meaning train services between Wolverhampton and Walsall are cancelled tonight (Tuesday, March 24).
In a social media post, West Midlands Railway said a tree is blocking the railway at Penkridge.
The company said that "as a result" services between Wolverhampton and Walsall have been cancelled.

The operator has said tickets are being accepted on West Midlands Buses and West Midlands Metro in the meantime.
Rail replacement coaches have been ordered to run between Shrewsbury and Wolverhampton; between Wolverhampton and Birmingham New Street; and between Wolverhampton and Crewe.
