Family of tragic Staffordshire seven-year-old killed in crash on A38 near Lichfield pay tribute to their 'beautiful young boy'
The family of a youngster who died in a collision on a major road near Lichfield have paid an emotional tribute to him.
The family of Isaac Radbourne made the tribute after the seven-year-old had ended up on the A38 northbound carriageway at Swinfen on Saturday morning after getting out of his house.
He was then involved in a collision with two other vehicles, a blue Vauxhall Mokka and a white Mercedes at about 5am and died at the scene.
Isaac’s family have now issued a tribute, saying: “Isaac was a beautiful loving young boy who will be sorely missed by his parents, grandparents, great grandparents, and wider family.
“Please respect our family and allow us time to grieve in privacy.”
A spokesman for Staffordshire Police said: "Isaac Radbourne, aged seven, went on to the northbound carriageway at Swinfen on Saturday (7 March), having got out of his house despite preventative / security measures being in place.
"Sadly, he was involved in a collision with two other vehicles, a blue Vauxhall Mokka and a white Mercedes at about 5am.
"Specialist officers have been supporting Isaac’s family at this devastating time while collision investigators continue with their enquiries.

"The drivers of both vehicles stayed at the scene following the collision and continue to support collision investigators with their enquiries.
"We understand the impact of this incident on the local community and the social media speculation that has followed. We ask that Isaac’s family are given the space and privacy needed to grieve during this unprecedented time and their wishes are respected. Specialist officers will continue to support his family.

A spokeswoman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to reports of a collision involving a car and pedestrian near to the junction of the A38 and A5206 at 5.11am on Saturday.
"Two ambulances and a paramedic officer attended the scene. On arrival we discovered one patient, a boy, who was the pedestrian.
"Sadly, it quickly became apparent that nothing could be done to save him and he was confirmed dead at the scene."
