A vehicle has broken down on the M6 northbound between Birmingham and Walsall.

The hard shoulder on the M6 northbound is closed between junctions 6 and 7 this morning (Friday 6 March). The outer lane is shut as a result of the break down.
Normal traffic conditions are expected on the major motorway by 9:30am. It may affect commuter journeys this morning.
