Delays on M6 near Cannock after collision involving lorries - lanes reopened
There have been delays on a busy section of motorway after a collision between two lorries - lanes have since reopened
The collision happened on the M6 Southbound carriageway at around 8.28am and involved two lorries.
It left two lanes closed while emergency services teams worked at the scene, with up to two miles of congestion on the approach to the area.
A spokesman for National Highways West Midlands said: "On the M6 southbound between J11 Cheslyn Hay and J10A Essington (M54), there are two lanes closed due to a collision involving two lorries.
"An Ambulance is en route and delays are building, with approximately two miles of congestion on the approach.
"Updates to follow."
A later update at 9.31am said that all lanes had been reopened after the collision, with both lorries cleared.

A spokesman for National Highways West Midlands said: "All lanes are now open on the M6 southbound between J11 Cheslyn Hay and J10A Essington (M54).
"The earlier collision involving 2 lorries has now been cleared.
"Delays of 20 minutes above normal/approximately three miles of congestion remain on the approach."
A spokeswoman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to reports of an RTC on the M6 Southbound between junction 10 and 11 and sent one ambulance to the scene.
"On arrival, crews found a man who they assessed before he was discharged at the scene with self-care advice."
