West Midlands Metro running restricted service between Birmingham and Sandwell due to maintenance

West Midlands Metro services are running a restricted service in parts of the region until Thursday, February 19.

No services are operating between Wednesbury Great Western Street and Edgbaston Village due to maintenance work, and trams will only run between Wednesbury and Wolverhampton for the next two days.

West Midlands Metro have confirmed that there will be ticket acceptance on selected National Express WM and WM Rail services between Wolverhampton and Birmingham, including Five Ways.

The National Express bus services that will accept tram tickets are:

  • 79 between Wednesbury and West Bromwich

  • 74 between West Bromwich and Birmingham City Centre

  • All services between Colmore Row and Edgbaston Village

Normal service will resume Thursday 19 February.
